When was the last time you treated yourself to something nice? How long has it been since you carved time out of your schedule to focus on your well-being? In this trending age of self-care, there are numerous suggestions for unique self-care options and ways to treat yourself. Here are a few of our favorites: 

  1. Give yourself the gift of nothing. Gift yourself 5-10 mins of absolutely nothing! Take a moment to breathe and be present in your body and space. Acknowledge the your body's messages and the beauty around you. 

  2. Go for a walk outside and get a healthy dose of vitamin D. The sun is a natural mood enhancer. A few minutes in nature will provide a quick pick me up. 

  3. Do something nice for someone else. You will be amazed at how much better you will feel if you turn your attention from yourself and toward others. Offering a random act of kindness to another human will boost your morale and make this world a better place for your fellow human. 

  4. Take a nap. Naps are not just for children. Everyone needs rest. A 20-minute power nap may be just the perk you need to make it through the day. If you want to be adventurous, take a nap with no specific wake-up time.  

  5. Treat yourself to a nourishing new product! Sometimes you don’t need to buy the item on clearance but rather what you want and need - no cutting corners. Treat yourself to something that is nourishing for your being inside and out.
